  • The green zone is when you're feeling happy, focused, calm, and proud, while the yellow zone is when you're feeling overwhelmed, worried, frustrated, silly, or excited.

  • When in the red zone, the amygdala is in overdrive, making it hard to calm down, but using calming strategies can help guide you back to the green zone.
