Promoting Peace Through Interreligious Dialogue

“Imagine a classmate tells you they don't think people of different religions can ever truly get along. Using principles of interfaith dialogue, how would you respond to encourage them to consider a different perspective and start a conversation about peace? Suppose you are talking with someone who believes their religion is the only way to achieve peace. How could you use empathy and respect to invite them to consider how other cultures and beliefs might also contribute to peace? Think about a current event where different religious groups are in conflict. How could you use the principles of interfaith dialogue to suggest ways to start a peaceful conversation between these groups, respecting their diverse beliefs and cultures?”
