Guided Notes
Key concepts students will learn:
- •
When multiplying a two-digit number by another two-digit number, you can start by multiplying the top number by the ones digit of the bottom number, just like multiplying by a one-digit number.
- •
When multiplying by the tens digit, remember that this digit represents a multiple of ten, so you need to add a zero as a placeholder in the ones place of the second partial product.
- •
After finding both partial products, add them together to get the final product.
