Friction on Inclines

“A 20 kg box is placed on an inclined plane that makes an angle of 40° with the horizontal. The coefficient of friction between the box and the incline is 0.3. Calculate the acceleration of the box down the incline. Show all work. A 100 kg crate is on an inclined plane with an angle of 25° relative to the horizontal. If the coefficient of friction between the crate and the plane is 0.15, determine the acceleration of the crate. Show all work.”
