Guided Notes
Key concepts students will learn:
- ā¢
The substitution method is most useful when one of the equations has a variable with a coefficient of 1 or -1.
- ā¢
When using substitution, you isolate one variable in one equation and substitute the expression into the other equation.
- ā¢
After substituting, you'll have an equation with only one variable, which you can then solve to find the value of that variable.
