Guided Notes
Key concepts students will learn:
- •
When solving inequalities, the steps are the same as solving equations, except if you multiply or divide by a negative number, you must reverse the inequality symbol.
- •
When graphing inequalities, an open point uses a rounded parenthesis in interval notation, while a closed point uses a square bracket.
- •
When using interval notation, we always use a rounded parenthesis on positive infinity or negative infinity.
