I can divide decimals using models or algorithms.

When dividing a decimal by a whole number, place the decimal point in the answer line directly above the decimal point in the dividend.

To divide by a decimal, first change the decimal divisor into a whole number by multiplying by a power of 10.

When you change the divisor, you must do the same thing to the dividend by multiplying by the same power of 10.
