Sound Blending
Learning Objective
I can blend individual sounds to read a word.
Key Concepts
Blending is a special trick that can help you read words easier by knowing all of your letters and letter sounds.
To blend letters into words, start with the first two letters, blend the two sounds together smoothly, and hold out the vowel sound.
The poem in the video ends with the line, Moonlight falls on my bed, because the word rhymes with head.
