Reading Passage
Keeping Earth Clean
We need to keep our Earth clean. A clean Earth is good for all people, plants, and animals. How can we help?
One way is to pick up trash. When we see trash on the ground, we can put it in a trash can. This keeps our parks and streets clean. It also keeps animals safe. They can get sick if they eat trash.
We can also recycle. Recycling means we make new things from old things. We can recycle paper, cans, and bottles. Look for the recycle bin! When we recycle, we use less new stuff. This helps save trees and water.
Another way to help is to use less water. Turn off the water when you brush your teeth. Take shorter showers. This saves water for plants and animals. When we all help, we can keep our Earth clean and happy!
