Adding Six-Digit Numbers
Learning Objective
I can add six-digit numbers with regrouping.
Key Concepts
When adding large numbers, the first step is to line up the numbers by their place value.
When adding whole numbers, always start adding with the furthest place to the right, which is the ones place.
When a column adds up to more than nine, you must carry the tens digit to the next column to the left, and write the ones digit in the current column.
