Automatic Negative Thoughts, or ANTs, are negative thoughts that can leave you feeling bad and stop you from problem solving.

The "ANT Buddies" try to keep us safe by helping us identify what might hurt us and helping us to try and learn from our mistakes.

To manage ANT Buddies, you can recognize the thought, swat the ant buddy with a thought-stopping statement, catch it to examine it, and question the thought to challenge the bug.
