Washing your hands is important because it helps keep your hands clean and free from germs and other yucky things that can make us sick.
When washing your hands, make sure to rub the palms of your hands together, get between your fingers, rub the tops of your hands, and scrub your fingernails too.
The steps for washing your hands are: turn on the water, get soap, scrub for 20 seconds, rinse, turn off the water, and dry your hands.
